MORE ISSUES THAN VOGUE
I absolutely adore Caroline from Stockholm Street Style (she has a wardrobe and looks to die for) and to start the year she has made a shirt that you can buy here. I’m not a big fan of rude words on clothing, but this made me smile.

LE CHOIX d’Isabelle
Certain bloggers you just love to hate. Their blogs are the epitome of cool, they have great personal style, they’re beyond belle and on top of it they’re also really really kind. This week’s Le Choix is such a blogger. Isabelle has been blogging for about four years now. Originally on Bellisima.se, but since May this year you’ll find her inspirations, outfits and styling results at Carolines Mode, the popular Swedish site. Next to changing her IP-address, she also changed her daily life, by leaving her 9 to 5 job to become a full-time fashion stylist. So don’t hold back with the positive feedback when she posts pics of her jobs! Isabelle dreams of travelling the world for a living and finding the perfect LBD.
This beauty with roots in Bangkok and Stockholm describes her style as ‘variable’. ‘Mix it up, change it around and create’ is her wardrobe motto, but you’ll never catch her in something she doesn’t feel comfortable in. She has to be completely herself, no matter where she’s going. Her weak spot are heels. Isabelle: ‘I love heels, and I buy plenty of them, but I rarely end up wearing them, since I realize it’s really not fun running around in 6inch heels an entire day at a photo shoot or production. So shoe wise I would say I’m a collector. They look pretty in the bookcase.’
Don’t you just love a girl who tells it like it is? And don’t you just want to know what somebody who shares her outfits almost daily with the rest of the world would choose as her Le Choix Trois? See it here…… Le Choix d’Isabelle!
1. Vintage YSL shoulder bag
‘I bought this bag about 6 years back from an old Japanese lady whom was selling out her collection. It’s in mint condition! I’m guessing she rarely used it. I just love the gold against the red. And it works with both the shoulder strap or as a clutch.’
2. Vintage 80’s YSL Blazer
‘This jacket is quite new, or new to my wardrobe anyways. I found it at a thrift store here in Stockholm in May. Hanging on the hanger at the back of rack in the corner, completely forgotten by everyone. I love the cobalt blue with the gold YSL detailed buttons. And it only cost me 30 euros! Crazy! It’s a bit worn, the shoulder pads need to be changed, but I don’t want to ruin it, and i sort of like the history it carries. I like to image the fantastic occasions to which it has been worn.’
3. Proenza Schouler Heels
Ok, I think these shoes by Proenza Schouler have to be my best heels. I feel a bit guilty towards my shoe collection saying that, but these Proenzas are awesome! They may not look much to the world but they wrap around your feet so beautifully. I love the simplicity, the triangular heel and the minimalism in them.
