GO GWYNETH, GO HARPER’S BAZAAR!
Finally Harper’s Bazaar US gets a makeover. The March issue will be the first where we can see the changes and Glenda Bailey picked Gwyneth as their cover girl. I greatly admire Glenda, but felt that Harper’s was going downhill lately (especially if you compare it to their UK sister!). The editorials are always amazing, but when I reread older issue (like from 11 years ago) I am glued to each and every page, while nowadays I hardly can remember what was in it. The pictures with Gwyneth look fab, so I hope the rest will be fun too.
p.s. doesn’t Gwyneth looks amazing here?
HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL
The new cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK features Kate Moss in the same McQueen dress she wore when she appeared as a hologram in McQueen Fall 2006 show. Beyond beautiful!

THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH
Finally the long anticipated, exclusive pictures by Terry Richardson of the first Tom Ford Womenswear show have been published in Harper’s Bazaar UK. Another magazine to look forward to!

NO FUSS STYLE ICON
One of my personal style icons is Cecilia Dean. She makes bold choices that somehow look really natural on her. The former model and founder of Vmagazine & Visionaire shows her favourite outfit of the week every Thursday on the V-blog. I met her in Italy and she blew me away at a formal event (at 9 AM in the morning), wearing no make up, but in sky-high Cesare Paciotti’s. Now that’s what I call glamour! And did I mention she is a really nice and smart too? We spoke quite a while about my favourite subjects publishing, the Internet and shoes, on which she held very interesting views!
This month Cecilia is featured in a stunning shoot in her own house, in Harper’s Bazaar (US). Funnily enough I don’t think she would be a good for a Le Choix, hence this quote from the interview:
HB: What piece of clothing could you not live without?
CD: There is no one piece of clothing I literally could not live without. Let’s not be dramatic.
I told you she really is a no fuss style queen!

SHOOT THE STYLIST
If you have ever seen an episode of the Rachel Zoe project, you know that Rachel is full of one-liners like ‘Bananas’ ‘She’s shutting it down’ and D.I.E. when she sees something she likes (which she quite often does). Her favourite is screaming ‘I die’ with every fancy fashion item that crosses her path. And now the creative forces behind Harper’s Bazaar (US) came up with the idea for the September issue, to let Rachel’s favourite designers ‘kill’ her. Love it or rather I DIE!
